What happens at a class?

Classes are your sanctuary, an escape from the hustle and bustle of life. There is no need to bring your own mat unless you want to, all equipment including mats, blankets, blocks and straps are provided. Wear clothes that enable you to move freely and that you feel comfortable in; during cooler months you may like to bring an extra layer and socks to keep you warm during the relaxation part of the session.

Each class is based on a theme (welcoming a season, finding our core strength, speaking from the heart etc.) the gentle warm up exercises, flowing sequence of postures, kriya, breathing practice and relaxation all aim to embody the topic, although each person will experience it in their own unique way.


If it is your first class try and arrive 10 – 15 minutes early so that you can fill out a registration form and we can have a chat about any injuries or health conditions that I need to be aware of.
