Unique balance was born out of my belief that there is no ‘one size fits all’ when it comes to wellbeing. There are some key principles that help create balance within, how these principles are applied, can and should be varied to make them achievable for everyone.

Once we begin our journey towards balance, we become much more in tune with our own specific needs. My role is to help you identify your goals and uncover what works best for you; I am there as a guide providing information, support and motivation, working with you to ensure you reach those goals.


Unique Balance incorporates 3 different services that are stand-alone therapies or can be combined as a package. Some clients have a very specific goal and are very clear about the service they are interested in (for example hypnotherapy to give up smoking) others would like to address an issue that could be supported in various ways and like to talk through what is best suited to them (for example weight management could be helped through nutritional advice, hypnotherapy, yoga or a combined package).

I sometimes draw on other disciplines to support a session. For example, I may give nutritional information on ways to increase energy at the end of a yoga class, or I may demonstrate a yogic breathing technique you could use to get into the perfect state for performance as part  of a hypnosis session for public speaking.

I have a particular interest in supporting people with Stress Management, Self Esteem Issues, Disordered Eating and ME/CFS.

I am a fully insured member of the National Council of Hypnotherapists, the National Society of Hypnosis, Psychotherapy and Mindfulness, the Independent Yoga Teachers Alliance and the Federation of Nutritional Therapy Practitioners.
